Beach Photography FAQ
How exactly does the process work?
Our photographers are located on the beach seven days a week from March 1st until October 31st. Once their services are rendered, they will take a variety of photos of your group which will be ready to view later that day at one of our convenient locations. Your photographer will give you a "beach card" that will have your group's name, customer #, photographer's name, phone # and address to the studio, as well as a map to the studio where you can view and pick up your pictures. Our studios are strategically located to be just minutes away from many of the main attractions in the town. Once in the studio you will be assisted by a customer service associate in the process of viewing and ordering your pictures. Gulf Coast Photo offers a variety of photographic products that will be available within 24hrs of the time ordered.
What are your hours of operation?
Our studios are open from 10am until 10pm seven days a week. We are open on all holidays and on Sundays. Off-season (Dec, Jan, Feb) hours will vary but call 850-249-1314 for details. NOTE: If you are leaving town early, or had your pictures taken the evening you are heading out of town, Gulf Coast Photo will make every attempt to accommodate you and make sure you receive your photos before you leave. We are here to serve you!!
How do I find a Photographer?
Photographers will be located on the beaches every single day. They will be working hard photographing families all day long and their top priority is to find the families and groups requesting service. If you see one of our photographers with the brightly colored “photos" shorts please feel free to call them over and ask questions. If some time goes by and you still have not seen a photographer there will be signup sheets at all of the beach stands behind the condos. Please leave your name, number, resort, and room number and we will contact you within the hour to fulfill your group's needs.
Can I make an appointment for daytime photos?
Absolutely!! When you have your group together and need a photographer, or want to plan a photo shoot in advance, just call 850-249-1314 and we will send a photographer there in a matter of minutes. As always all of our photo shoots will be taken today, ready today and require no sitting fee or obligation.
When can I view my pictures?
Generally, all pictures will be ready by 4pm the same day. If you are leaving town early, special modifications can be made to have your photos available earlier. If for some reason you can't make it in that night, we will hold all unclaimed pictures. You will be able to come to the studio to view them anytime during our hours of operation.
I no longer have my beach card. Can I still view my pictures?
Of course!! The best thing to do is come in to our studio and our friendly customer service associates will help you find your pictures and guide you through the ordering process.
Do you deliver pictures?
As a general rule of thumb we discourage deliveries. The customer will benefit by coming into the studio previewing all our product samples, having access to photo editing software, and being able to inspect their products before leaving. We do understand that family and large group vacations can be hectic... so a delivery service will be available on a case by case basis. Please call 850-249-1314 to request picture delivery.
Can I view my pictures on line?
Again we do offer an online ordering system but encourage all customers to come into the studio, in order to take advantage of all the services Gulf Coast Photo offers. If interested in viewing pictures online click on the "view and order prints" link and you will be redirected.
